Rotary Club of Kigali Golf Celebrates Leadership, Partnership, and Healthcare Impact at 3rd Presidential Installation and Fundraising Gala.
The 3rd Presidential Installation and Fundraising Gala, held on 5 June 2026 at Landmark One House, brought together Rotarians, healthcare professionals, business leaders, partners, and friends of Rotary for an evening of celebration, fellowship, and purpose.

The event officially installed PHF Julie Mutoni as the club’s third President while launching a campaign to raise USD 250,000 for the acquisition of a Holmium Laser Medical System for the University Teaching Hospital of Kigali (CHUK). The advanced technology will help improve access to minimally invasive treatment for kidney stones, enlarged prostate conditions, and other urological disorders, strengthening specialized healthcare services in Rwanda.

A key highlight of the evening was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Rotary Club of Kigali Golf and the Rotary Club of Kitante, establishing a cross-border partnership to support healthcare initiatives in both Rwanda and Uganda. The agreement reflects a shared commitment to creating sustainable, community-driven impact beyond borders.

The gala also celebrated the remarkable leadership and service of Outgoing President PHF Andrew Kulayige, while setting the stage for a new chapter under President Julie Mutoni’s leadership. Thanks to the generosity of members, sponsors, partners, and guests, the campaign generated strong early momentum, with USD 27,000 pledged toward the fundraising goal.
More than a leadership transition, the evening was a reflection of Rotary’s enduring mission: bringing people together to create lasting change through service, partnership, and meaningful action.
