RCKG members were on the ground in Ntungamo as we joined the Rotary Club of Kigo Seven Lakes Golf, in partnership with Next Media Foundation, for the commissioning of the Mama Kariisa Maternity Ward at Rubaare Health Center IV.
This project, led by the Rotary Club of Kigo Seven Lakes Golf, was made even stronger through partnership, bringing together Rotarians across borders to support a shared vision of improving access to healthcare. It was a day that had been rooted in purpose, connection, and real impact. Rotarians came together with a common goal, showing what collaboration can truly achieve.
The commissioning was held in the presence of national and community leaders, including representation from the Ministry of Health, adding to the importance of the moment and the impact of the initiative.
Through this effort, access to maternal healthcare has been strengthened, offering safer and more dignified care for mothers and families. It marked a meaningful step toward building healthier communities.
